1928 Buick Monarch Phaeton

This impressive car was bodied in England by specialist builders General Motors Limited, Edgeware Road London to the order of the Egyptian government and used in Cairo until the outbreak of World War Two.

Post-war the car was purchased by Twentieth Century Fox and used in the 1950 film “Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb” starring actor Ray Milland, subsequently she was used by Mr. Milland whilst filming in Port Said.

She is believed to be the only surviving English-bodied 1928 six passenger Phaeton.

A beautiful motor car offering extremely spacious and comfortable seating. She is finished in Old English White with full weather equipment thus ensuring draught-free travel whilst having the distinct advantage of a fully convertible top which can be quickly raised or lowered for those unsurpassed wedding photographs.
